Tara is client focused and committed.
Tara advocates passionately for her clients both in and out of the courtroom. She immerses herself in each file to determine the best approach to achieve client goals. Tara takes the time to explain the steps to her clients and works diligently to navigate legal obstacles. She is a team player by nature, collaborating with her colleagues to obtain the best possible results.
Tara has a broad litigation practice with a focus on contract disputes, employment matters, personal injury matters, construction matters and residential tenancy matters. She also practices in the area of commercial insolvency, assisting receivers, trustees, and creditors. Tara previously worked as a Judicial Clerk in Provincial Court Civil, guiding litigants through the court process as well as providing support to lawyers and the judiciary.
Outside of work Tara can be found outdoors either hiking in the Rockies, or running trail and road races across Canada, from 10km races to half marathons. One of the races she completes every year is the Canmore Rocky Mountain 10km race, which offers stunning views of the mountains. She also enjoys live music and travelling.
