Professional Background
Terry Czechowskyj is a managing partner of the firm. His practice specializes in insolvency matters and corporate commercial litigation. Throughout his career Mr. Czechowskyj has provided advice and representation to receivers, trustees in bankruptcy, creditors and financial institutions. He has in excess of 50 reported trial and appeal decisions, involving a broad scope of commercial and insolvency maters. Since 2007 he has been retained by the Federal Department of Justice to assist the Canadian Delegation at the United Nations working group on insolvency regarding various cross border and international insolvency issues.
Mr. Czechowskyj received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Calgary in 1981 and his LL.B. from the University of Alberta in 1984. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1985.
