A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Byron graduated from the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law in 1997, and he was called to the Alberta Bar in 1998 after completing his articles with the firm.
Byron’s practice focuses strongly on residential and commercial real estate transactions, with a particular emphasis on residential real estate transactions. Byron’s practice encompasses all aspects of real estate law including real estate conveyancing for residential, commercial, agricultural and recreational lands, preparation and registration of mortgages, including second mortgages and vendor take-back mortgages, preparation and review of real estate related contracts including Offers to Purchase, Lease Agreements, and Rent to Own Agreements.
Byron also has a general litigation practice with a focus on personal injury, employment law, insurance, and foreclosure defence. Byron has experience providing legal advice to a wide range of clients such as insurance companies, corporations, small businesses and injured individuals.
Byron enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, playing any and all sports, playing piano and reading.
