Professional Background
Terry joined the Miles Davison McCarthy firm in 1984
and became a partner in 1990 and elected a managing partner in 2004. His areas of practice include
guarantees, enforcement of security, receiverships, CCAA
proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings, security and priority
issues and commercial realizations.
He has presented papers for the Canadian
Bar Association on insolvency and credit topics as well
as speaking at numerous professional and client presentations
on bankruptcy, receivership, CCAA and personal property
security issues. Terry has appeared at all levels of
court within Alberta including Queen's Bench and Court
of Appeal.
